The Apostolic Church of Lumberton is growing in faith and hope. ACL is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
The Apostolic Church of Lumberton was founded in 2010 by Rev. and Mrs. Weldon Flowers. The vision was a place in Lumberton where people could find hope and Jesus, and worship God freely. Services began in the conference room of a local hotel, but God soon made a way for ACL to rent a storefront in town. There, Jesus began to add to the church and ACL saw significant growth. We wouldn’t have the experience of God we have in Lumberton today if it wasn’t for a man with a burden who wasn’t afraid to step out in faith and let the Lord work through him.
What's the bottom line? More than ever, ACL is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, a sense of family, and belonging, remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you're always welcome at The Apostolic Church of Lumberton. We're saving a seat just for you. Wherever you're at in your faith, you'll always be welcome as part of the ACL family as we all walk together in obedience to God’s word.
